At present, Shah Jahan Mosque plays an active role in serving the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the community by organising a wide range of events, seminars, and workshops throughout the year. These activities are designed to promote learning, personal development, and community cohesion, and are delivered on a variety of occasions in response to both religious and social needs.
The subjects covered are broad and carefully selected, ranging from foundational Islamic teachings and everyday religious matters to discussions on character development, civic responsibility, and living as a practising Muslim in contemporary Western society. Through these programmes, the mosque seeks to provide guidance that is both faith-centred and relevant to modern life.
All events are coordinated by a dedicated events team, which works to ensure that each programme is well-organised, purposeful, and beneficial to the wider community. The team aims to arrange approximately two events per month, while also remaining flexible to accommodate additional activities when appropriate.
In addition, Shah Jahan Mosque welcomes proposals from external speakers, organisations, and community groups who wish to host events that align with the mosque’s values and objectives. To maintain quality and consistency, all event requests must be submitted through the events team by completing the official event booking form, following which proposals will be reviewed accordingly.
