Our community is closely connected through shared values, family ties, cultural heritage, and, above all, our faith. Shah Jahan Mosque operates on a voluntary basis, supported by the dedication, time, and skills of its community members. Within our congregation are individuals from a wide range of professional backgrounds who generously contribute their expertise in service of the community.
When challenges arise, it is often both appropriate and reassuring to seek support from within our own community. However, at present, information about the skills and professional expertise available among our members is dispersed, making it difficult to identify and contact the right individuals when needed. In addition, the absence of a centralised and up-to-date community database means that we are unable to consistently reach all community members to inform them about upcoming events, local initiatives, and valuable services available to them.
To address this, we are developing a centralised community directory.
