Shah Jahan Mosque offers a variety of marriage-related services to support every stage of this important journey.

This form needs be completed and the terms agreed to prior to a Nikkah booking. The fee for the Nikkah is £200.00 which MUST be paid before the Nikkah, bank details will be provided via email once the booking is confirmed. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure all terms are agreed/followed and relayed onto guests attending the Nikkah (particularly dress code), any failure in any of the below terms will lead to the Nikkah NOT being conducted.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Please arrive on time late arrivals may lead to the Nikkah NOT being conducted
  • Passports of bride & groom MUST brought as proof of ID
  • Payment for the booking MUST be made prior to the booking date
  • Guest’s both male and female are required to be dressed modestly and follow the etiquette and respect of the Mosque i.e. heads covered, body fully covered etc.
  • If guests are dressed inappropriately the Imam has the right to NOT conduct the Nikkah
  • It is the responsibility of the person making the booking that ALL guests are notified & adhere to the dress code
  • During Prayer times ALL attendees are expected to be inside the pray halls and not hanging around outside the premises
  • Maximum of 25 people can attend a Nikkah ceremony
  • Photography is permitted however it MUST be respectful and in accordance with the decorum of a sacred place
  • There is to be NO physical contact i.e. hugging, hand shaking whilst on the premises or during photography
  • We do NOT allow any stages, partitions or confetti to be used during the Nikkah
