Building connections and contributing to local life
At Shah Jahan Mosque, community outreach is about building relationships, fostering understanding, and playing a positive role in the wider community.
As one of the UK’s oldest mosques, we are actively involved in Woking- bringing people together through shared activities, dialogue, and partnership.
What we do
Take part in multifaith events and local initiatives
Work with the council, schools, and community organisations
Welcome visits and host talks and discussions
Share opportunities for people to learn, connect, and get involved
We aim to create a welcoming space where people from different backgrounds can meet, learn from one another, and build mutual respect.
